EVALUATING THE PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL TRUSTEE

Many years of working in the personal trust industry taught us that a T & E attorney’s clients need the best advice in the selection of the trustee, and that this is very subjective, challenging and potentially time consuming. Many T & E attorneys lean toward recommending a large bank as their clients’ trustee or possibly opt for a family member to serve in that capacity. A Professional Individual Trustee is another option and in many cases, the best choice.
